Vaxify

As life transitions out of the pandemic and into a new normal, we’re faced with the issue of keeping events a safe and healthy place for people, so I designed Vaxify. Vaxify is a conceptual company designed to serve small to medium-sized events in verifying the vaccination status of attendees.

Concept

When creating a brand identity for something related to the covid-19 vaccine, there was a challenge of creating something that feels approachable and friendly while still maintaining professionalism and a sense of assurance. This is achieved through the usage of shape, color, and illustration style.

The general shapes in the designs are a combination of bold lines, rounded edges, and pointed corners which create a sense of compassion and stability. The primary colors of white, green, and grey represent cleanliness, health, prosperity, and reliability. The illustration style is modern and approachable in a way that feels inclusive and can appeal to all audiences.

Conclusion

The overall feel of the branding identity is professional, comforting, and clean. When asked, 90% of people said they would feel more comfortable at events if vaccine cards were checked, and 78% agreed Vaxify was a great brand concept to achieve that. It is a brand identity that helped promote the covid-19 health and safety in a way that feels friendly and inviting.
